VitaReach mounts to your wall studs the same way a large TV mount or shelving unit would. A standard install uses 2 lag screws per stud, one per rail (top and bottom). The holes are small and easily patched if you ever remove it. Per customer request, the frame can also be attached directly to the wall through the rails.
Not a problem. The frame can accommodate any stud configuration. Per customer request, additional heavy-duty drywall anchors can be installed, but that is usually overkill.
Yes, completely. After removing all TroveBlades, the frame rails can be unscrewed. The 2020 aluminum extrusions are durable enough to reinstall many times without any degradation.
Our 100LB-rated slides are designed for loads up to 100LB, but we recommend staying under 80LB in real-world use to keep the action smooth and reduce wear over time. The 150LB-rated slides allow up to 150LB, with a recommended working load of 120LB. For context: a full set of power tools, drill bits, clamps, and hand tools typically weighs well under 50LB.
Yes β hooks and accessories aren't included in the base system, but they're cheap and universal. VitaReach uses standard ΒΌ" pegboard hole spacing, so any hook from Home Depot, Amazon, or your local hardware store will fit. WallControl and OmniWall also make premium hook systems if you want something more organized. We can recommend specific kits based on what you're storing.
For a typical 3β5 TroveBlade system, we're in and out in under 3 hours. Larger systems or unusual wall situations can add time, but we've never gone over a half-day. We bring all tools and hardware β you just need to clear the area in front of the wall and have a power outlet nearby.
Yes. The TroveBlades slide along the horizontal rails and can be repositioned with basic tools β just unscrew, slide, screw back. If you want to add more TroveBlades later, we can extend the frame or add a new section. VitaReach is designed to grow with you, not lock you into one configuration forever.
Not even close. The real limit is your ceiling. 16" is our current safety limit for a pure wall cantilever. We're working on a ceiling support that, combined with the wall frame, would handle 18", 20", or even 24" deep systems β and we're looking for volunteers to test it.
Currently San Francisco, the Peninsula, East Bay, South Bay, and most of the Bay Area. If you're outside this area, fill out the booking form anyway and we'll let you know β our coverage area is expanding. We're also working on a ship-to-you option for customers outside the Bay Area.
